A little help. More room to focus.

iTodo is a native task companion for macOS 26 or later on Apple Silicon. Here is how to make it feel at home on your Mac.

Your tasks, within reach

In Settings → General, choose a floating window, a menu bar item, or either top island layout. Hover to expand. Move away to collapse. Click the pin to keep the panel open; the pin indicator tells you why it stays expanded.

Plan a day—or something longer

Add a task and press Return or click the arrow. Use the calendar button to choose a date. Plans can hold a trip, a course, or an ongoing project. Completed steps remain in a plan until you choose to finish and archive it.

Free essentials. Optional Pro.

Tasks, calendar, plans, backup, appearance settings, the floating window, the menu bar item, and MCP integration are free. Pro unlocks both top island layouts on Macs with or without a notch. Start an optional 3-day trial in Settings → iTodo Pro. It lasts 72 hours, does not renew, and never charges automatically. Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase, not a subscription. The App Store confirmation sheet shows the price for your region. Store availability is pending the initial release.

Restore a purchase

Open Settings → iTodo Pro → Restore Purchases using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Restoring a trial does not reset its original end time. Payment and refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Never send us a password or payment card details.

Connect an AI client

MCP is optional and off by default in the App Store version. In Settings → AI & Data, read the permission notice and enable the local connection. Copy its configuration into a trusted MCP-compatible client. The credentials grant access to all tasks and notes. Keep tool-call confirmations enabled. Disabling the connection stops local access, but cannot recall content already read by a client.

Back up before you need to

Use Settings → AI & Data to export or import a backup. Import merges records and keeps newer local changes. The app does not add encryption to backups. Your chosen sync or storage service has its own privacy policy. Deleting the app may leave local data behind; the data location is shown in Settings.

Something not working?

Email yuanundo@163.com with the app version, macOS version, and steps to reproduce the issue. Copy Version Information in Settings → About helps. Please remove private task contents from screenshots. We do not need your full task database, Apple Account password, or payment details.
